I have decided to do pre-orders for this batch of shirts - with the attached logo. There will be three options available: 1. Black crew neck with small logo (about 8cm diameter) on right sleeve. Price - $20 plus postage 2. Black crew neck with large logo (about 18cm diameter) on chest. Price - $22.50 plus postage 3. Black crew neck with large logo on back and small logo on chest (left breast). Price - $25 plus postage I still need to confirm if I can get XXXL - they may be a bit more expensive. Hopefully not. HOW TO PRE-ORDERIf you are interested in any of the shirts, please send me an email ( dallas@nikongear.com) and tell me what sizes you want and what configuration you want the print on. If I get at least 50 shirt orders I will be able to make it happen, and you may even get the shirts before the end of February if orders are received quickly - it takes about a week for them to arrive in the mail after I send them. HOW TO PAYPayment will be via PayPal. I'll set up a cart button on the site once I have enough orders and then you can pay for them. You don't have to pay upfront. Postage is expected to be in the region of $5 per shirt. It isn't feasible to combine shipping as each shirt gets sent as a large letter. Combining items pushes the cost into international parcel territory which gets much more expensive. I will update this thread with the number of shirts ordered as the orders come in. That way if you have placed an order you'll be able to see how close we are getting to filling the order. |

Still on 29, but I have an update:
I have managed to source good quality 200g/m2 cotton t-shirts including up to 5XL. I will get measurements on the larger shirts in this coming week.
I am awaiting a test sample of an embroidered logo which, if it looks okay on the shirt I will offer as an alternative to silk-screened logos.

UPDATE:
I have now ordered 50 blank black T's (200g thickness) and as soon as they are received from the supplier I will get the silk screening done. I am hopeful that this will happen this week, but expect that it will probably only happen next week.
Thank you to those of you who pre-ordered. I will be in contact soon to provide details on how to make payment. The postage situation I just need to investigate because these shirts are thicker than the last ones and so will obviously be heavier. I can get away with sending them individually in padded envelopes as large letters at around R40 ($5.50) per item but the total mass has to be under 300g. I suspect that this may not be possible for the larger shirts, so as soon as I can get the useless Post Office website to load on my browser screen I will see what it costs to send small parcels.

T-shirts are now at the silk-screeners! I'm hopeful that I will have them back by Monday and so tomorrow will see about the postal costs. Can you believe that the SA Post Office's website, which takes on average about 40 minutes to load the main page, is still not updated with the 2010 rates...  |

THEY HAVE ARRIVED!!! I just sorted them all out and made sure that all the pre-orders have been correctly printed in their right sizes and can confirm that everything is 100% right (surprising for such a complicated order!). I will be sending an email with payment instructions today to those of you who pre-ordered. The postage is going to be $5 per shirt as they will get sent separately via Airmail as large letters. I need to do this BEFORE 1 April, otherwise the postage price will go up and I may have to send them via surface mail instead. There will be about 15 shirts in various sizes and configs left over, which I will make available to the rest of the membership once I have got all the mailings done. BTW, the shirts look great!  |
