Look how ridiculously close this little (well, maybe not THAT little) fella is to the beach. I was on a whale watch cattamaran sail boat. His mother just when down for a shallow dive when he decided to do the opposite; he's taken the opportunity to take a peek at us. Image taken at Dana Point, Ca.
I think that emotional content is an image's most important element, regardless of the photographic technique. Much of the work I see these days lacks the emotional impact to draw a reaction from viewers, or remain in their hearts. Anne Geddes
