These are not Bird/Botanical/Commercial/Macro/Nature/Nude/People/PJ/Street/Places/Sports.
Are we missing some boards or something?
Or am I somehow not seeing a board where these might belong ??

These are just photos - still lifes (lives?) and a window thing.
I was trying to break many rules.

The fruit thing seems to balance precariously on its floating shadow.

Shadows are good and so are these.
Very dynamic and interesting.

the last one is especially interresting indeed, I like the idea that the shadow reveals the world.
Most often, blocked shadows look OK to me, blown highlights less so. It is nice to see here that the reverse can work when it is well done...

The "Sometime after fall..." is superb.
The shadows are good too but the mentioned one is delishiously fine.

Being stuck inside on a beautiful sunny but bite-ingly cold day need not be a total loss. Where there is light and a few cameras sitting around, there can be a pleasant afternoon spent lost in the enchantment of that light. "-)

Mike, I don't really know what that thing is. It was part of a dried, scented mix that is sold here as "potpourri" to put into bowls or jars as a decorative item. It might be a dried pomegranate husk ??

I like these types of experiments. I think I am liking the last image -measuring at the shadow- the most. I will also take a guess and say that this looks to me more like a variety of quince rather than pomegranate. Makes one of the best types of marmalade in my opinion.
