Annually, the National Western Stock Show is held in Denver. Here are some photos from that event. Livestock, mostly cattle, are washed, trimmed and blow dried in preparation for their showing. Food stands abound with grilled items being very popular.
For those who may wonder what the dark figures with the brightly lit trim are at the end of the post, they are the Westernairres, an equestrian group. One of their routines is performed in near darkness. I tried brightening the horses a bit, but that didn't work for me, so they were left very dark. Richard
