At 1.3 km, this is the longest wooden bridge in the world. It is also a stunning place at sunset, which I hope my photos convey.

C&c welcome.

One of the nicest placed I have been.
Did you noticed a lot of the columns are already deteriorated?

Thanks for commenting, Coreopsis, Chris and Dallas.

Chris, yes, some columns have deteriorated, and the maintenance programme is not what it might be. Teak is strong and water resistant, so I am sure the bridge will be around for a while yet.

Dallas, it certainly was a Golden Hour. There is a huge amount of visual inspiration there, and a keen photographer could easily spend a couple of days there. Even the monks like to take photos.

Amazing place and light, thanks for sharing.
My favourites are the third, fourth and last of the first series, the middle shots of the second series are also nice.

I love the seventh (one before the last) of the first series.
This is a quite famous place and you managed to get original views, congratulations...
I especially like the reflections in the water in this series.
