The lens is very well made. Thanks to its rear focusing design, no outer part will move during operation, and thus the camera/lens combo feels solid.

The lens focuses very fast, and, unlike the annoyingly slow AF of APS-C or Full frame DSLRs, you can treat the combo of this lens and m4/3 camera (in my case GH2) as casually as with consumer camcorders like Sony Handicams.

As for the image quality, the corner may suffer a little when the lens is used wide open, but stopping down a little will improve the overall image quality.

Possibly because the entrance pupil is not as large as 20/1.7, the lens doesn't cause any delay in the release response (see my post for 20/1.7). So, the lens won't slow your camera down at any aperture settings.

I noticed is that the lens causes 4-leaf clover like ghost when you include a very strong point light source like the sun or a lighting in a dim room. Also, there will be a strong shower-like flare will appear when a strong light source is right beside the edge of the image frame (even when it is no included in the frame). Otherwise it is a fine lens.
