The visual potential is there, but in my opinion, not exploited to the full extent. Move in closer and make a visual juxtapositon between the elements (livestock - wind mill). The strong shadow in the foreground is not a required picture element.

In the present case, IR neither adds nor detracts from the picture. So I guess it's OK as an IR shot?

Juxtaposition similar like I tried here (not happy with the grass on the left)? I agree.



Problem with the cows was they moved as soon as I moved. As they seemed to be milked, I did not want to disturb them (famers do not like this, they would give less milk).

omg I love cows in the pasture photos!
the shadow is annoying. the juxtaposition is cool.
such a scene is worth shooting several different ways to find out what works.
