I'm coming out of the closet... I'm a rust junkie



I took this shot that is over saturated , over sharpened and liked the luminescence... I thought it might print well on metal... So I had a triptych done of other shots and they pop on the wall. (Also has barnacles & moss)



These are mounted on aluminum plate

The color of the triptych fits nicely with the huge oil painting (?) on the wall. Like the objects on the table, too.

Rags, one could spend a lifetime exploring the photographic opportunities presented by rusting metal! I think you are really on to something. A style all your own, culminating in a book showcasing the best of your rust images? I'd buy it!

While I certainly appreciate the above rust "abstraction", I would also love to see rust that had a subtle yet identifiable image - like seeing images in clouds!

This really is so cool..... I clearly see the evil car eating curse..... but it looks so pretty like a dream coral reef.
