This is a photograph I pre-visualized for a long time before the opportunity presented itself.
The building in the background is The St. Michael's Hospital, situated in an area of downtown Toronto with a large homeless population. I imagined St. Michael looking down at a homeless person on the street corner, with the signs caption helping to convey and re-inforce the message.
Shot during the Christmas holidays of 2004.
