Nice picture.
I've ben there too and have the same opinion: the place is stunning but our pictures don't convey it.

Thanks guys, it's an interesting place no doubt.
Although this image is more or less the classic view of the Canyon and I like it, it's not one of my favorites.
Due to the weather, a wide range of tones was presented and thus a nice opportunity for a B&W presentation.

Nice one James. I've never been able to make a photo their that I like.
Maybe burn down the white clouds on the outer edges (right and left) just at the outer edges to stop your eye from sneaking out there...

Carolyn, good observation on the clouds.
This one is tests the limits of dynamic range of my camera for sure.
A little additional work in editing could improve things. Thanks!
