I have just watched the whole film (all nine parts of it).
The film is truly awesome: Richard Avedon's brilliant and sensitive photography, and the man himself, are inspiring, fascinating, moving and thought-provoking. Every aspiring photographer simply HAS to watch this film.
Thank you so much for posting the Link.
So glad you enjoyed it, Ann - I shared your reaction.
Wishing you a wonderfully creative Sunday, mlle.
Big hugs from Atlanta -

(loved, "He (Avedon, of Natasha Kinski with Natasha Kinski) got to her ear, and kissed her, and Dick got the picture, and I was crying - and kissed her, and I was crying..." "She rose to the moment, the snake rose to the moment, I rose to the moment - and it was one of those absolutely magical things that happen when nothing you plan can equal the random..." Avedon put the sublime image on a poster, and sold 2-million+ copies.)
