Dallas, I have used Calumet, off and on, for over 20 years, dating back to my large format days.  They offer top notch service, an intelligent sales staff, top-of-the-line equipment, etc.....

I have made over a hundred purchases from them, large items and small items, and have never once had a problem.

I have used them for many years, and made lots of purchases.... Apart from a few minor issues, they have been my best local photographic retailer by far.

I am a regular customer of the Calumet store on Goose Island. They have decent walk in prices on film for local outlets here in Chicago and I follow their web sales to trim costs for the trinkets and accessories to feed my habits. The house brand stuff is of resonable quality and for the price is usually just what this hobbist needs to play.
I am not a big ticket purchaser and thus cannot rate their service with high end equipment sales and returns, but for the archival, film and field/studio accessories they fill the bill well. Plus they are very handy for a guy like me that enjoys being able to need, see, buy the same day instead of next week by mail.
