Echoes

I have been experiencing some noise issues lately. This has in fact almost destroyed several of my images. When I try to use a noise software it actually adds more noise to the picture. Whether there is a stand alone application or not, like if I try to put it through PS`s noise reduction filter it actually adds more noise. I really don`t understand this.. Help..
