I think I have finally got a layout that I am happy with and that works well for the content presented there.

The new index page now shows a whole bunch of random photos from the gallery area along the right hand side, advertisers slots along the left hand side and dynamic information relating to the forum and announcements in the centre column. You can now see a summary of the last 25 posts on the forum here.

Everything looks good to me in Firefox 3 and Safari. Of course there is always the possibility that something gets screwed up in IE, so any feedback will be appreciated (I'll just direct you IE users to the message at the bottom of the page! ). Seriously though, let me know what you guys think.

As per my earlier post regarding changes to the site, I can advise that this morning I made the following changes:

1. The film and Digital SLR boards have been merged into a single SLR board that deals with any SLR based Nikon.
2. Index page has been changed so that random images shown in the sidebar will now link directly to the item location in the Gallery 2 application. Note that this has been set to open in a new window as the resulting link isn't merged with the forum and the rest of the site. I'll have to work a little harder on getting that right, but at least for now if you see an image on the index page that you want to see bigger it goes to the right place. Also note that there are now 5 random images shown. 
3. Moved the "search" box to just below the most recent posts list on the index page and enlarged it.
4. Added a new board specifically for the discussion of lighting and studio equipment.

I have only 5 of these left after sending the bulk of them off to a local retailer. They are M - 1, L - 1 and XL - 3, so if you have been hovering this would be a good time to get the last of this particular grey colour.

Please note that the sizes tend to be based on Eastern and European builds, so they are on the smallish size. I'm wearing an XXL in the product photo and I am 6'0", 210lbs. If you're bigger than me then none of these shirts are likely to fit you.

Next batch of shirts will be done in black with the same design as the one we have just used. I will also have a woven Polo shirt and a polar-fleece zippered "hoodie" made with the same logo embroidered on the left breast. Photos and prices of those items are to follow. The largest size T-shirt I can get from the supplier is XXL. We'll see if we can find another supplier, but all indications are that this may involve higher costs.

I will be making these items to order in future and producing them in batches of 20. If you are interested in the black T-shirt, Polo shirt or Hoodie please send me a PM telling me what items you'd like and what sizes you'd want. Once I have enough orders I will open my shop for payments.
