UGLY SIDE Challenge: VOTE NOW! |
Join us on the adventure of your lifetime as groups of Nikongear members converge for safaris specifically tailored to photographers. Our group Safaris to Southern Africa are organised by Nature Uncut Tours, a registered and authorised service provider in Southern Africa.
These safaris are designed for the photographer who wants to get as close as possible to the Big 5 (Lion, Leopard, Buffalo, Elephant & Rhino) as well as countless other wildlife species unique to Southern Africa. You will spend 6 amazing nights and 7 days with us in one of the world’s leading private game lodges, with the option of extending your holiday by choosing either of our leading and trailing tour extensions.
We book out the entire Little Bush Camp at Sabi-Sabi for our Big 5 safaris. This gives us exclusivity of the lodge and all vehicles during our stay, which allows us to cater specifically to photographer’s needs during the game drives. You will enjoy two game drives each day, one early in the morning and the other as evening and nightfall approaches. This is when the light is the best and the animals are most active. There are also optional walking safaris after breakfast with the armed rangers.
Sabi-Sabi provides us with two open game viewing vehicles, each driven by a fully qualified game ranger and accompanied by a Shangaan tracker. Unlike the rules within the Kruger National Park, we are allowed to travel off-road within Sabi Sands, so if we encounter a fresh kill we are assured of getting really close to the action.
Safari goers are given the option of paying for exclusivity of their suite and row of seats in one of the game viewing vehicles, or sharing with a partner for a surcharge of around 40% of the single seat. The quoted prices for the Sabi-Sabi safaris are inclusive of all meals and local beverages, park and conservation fees, plus transfers from Johannesburg to Sabi-Sabi and back. It doesn’t include international airfare to Johannesburg, gratuities, laundry and optional treatments at the Amani Spa.
