Jul 06, 2009 in Editor's Challenge
For this challenge I would like to see you create a movie poster.
Your movie poster can be fictional (i.e. a movie that doesn’t exist) or you can pay homage to any movie that has already been made by creating your own version of its original poster using your own look-alike models.
The poster should contain graphics and look just like a real movie poster. Go to www.1001fonts.com and you will find zillions of typefaces that come from movies.
The rules:
1. You must shoot this specifically for this challenge. Don’t cheat!
2. You have the entire month of July to produce your poster. Deadlines for entries will be on 31 July at approximately 16h00 GMT. Judging will commence immediately and three finalists will be selected for public voting.
3. To enter you will need to email me your final poster in JPG format (dallas@nikongear.com). Please keep it under 350kb and no longer than 1000px on the long side.
4. You may use up to 5 different photographs to create your final poster, but don’t email those all to me. Only send me the final image. If you win we will do a feature story on how you arrived at your final poster showing the originals.
If you have any questions about this challenge please post them as replies to this thread.
